SHIPPING POLICY

At ScentModo, we process and ship orders quickly and securely. Please review our shipping terms carefully before placing your order.


ORDER PROCESSING

• Orders are processed within 1–3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).
• Tracking information is provided once the order ships.
• Delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed.


SHIPPING RESPONSIBILITY & RISK OF LOSS

Once an order is transferred to the shipping carrier, risk of loss transfers to the customer.

ScentModo is not responsible for:

  • Lost packages

  • Stolen packages

  • Carrier delays

  • Packages marked “Delivered” but not received

  • Shipping errors caused by incorrect addresses entered at checkout

If tracking confirms delivery, the order is considered fulfilled.


LOST OR MARKED DELIVERED PACKAGES (WITHOUT PACKAGE PROTECTION)

If your package is marked as delivered but cannot be located:

  1. Check with neighbors or household members.

  2. Check secure areas around your property.

  3. Contact the carrier directly to initiate an investigation.

All claims must be filed directly by the customer with the shipping carrier.

ScentModo is not liable for packages confirmed delivered by the carrier.


PACKAGE PROTECTION (OPTIONAL)

If Package Protection is purchased at checkout, additional coverage applies.

What It Covers:

• Lost packages in transit
• Stolen packages (case-by-case review)
• Damaged items during shipping

What It Does Not Cover:

• Incorrect shipping addresses entered by the customer
• Delays caused by carriers
• Orders marked delivered to the address provided


CLAIM PROCESS (WITH PACKAGE PROTECTION)

If Package Protection was purchased:

  1. You must notify us within 5 days of the delivery issue.

  2. Email: scentmodo@thefragrancecenter.net

  3. Include your order number and supporting documentation (photos, carrier confirmation, etc.).

If approved, ScentModo will handle the claim process on your behalf.

Approved claims may result in:

• Replacement shipment, or
• Store credit, or
• Refund at our discretion

We reserve the right to deny claims that show signs of fraud, repeated claims history, or insufficient documentation.


INCORRECT ADDRESS POLICY

Customers are responsible for entering accurate shipping information.

Orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided at checkout are not eligible for refund or replacement.


REFUSED OR RETURNED PACKAGES

If a package is refused or returned:

• Original shipping fees are non-refundable
• A restocking fee may apply
• Reshipment requires additional shipping payment


FRAUD PREVENTION

ScentModo reserves the right to:

• Require signature confirmation on high-value orders
• Hold or cancel suspicious transactions
• Deny claims suspected of abuse
